Slow Poke from Frederick Maryland
I am a heavier guy at 275lbs and 6'3". I bought this shoe
after a sales person recommended it to me after I destroyed
my Nike Air Max's after 100 miles of training for a 1/2
marathon. I have to say they are great. Very sturdy,
comfortable on long runs and light weight. I have had Asics,
and they don't compare if you are a heavier person. These
shoes are made for people who are going to give them a
beating. Great Product if this is the area your in.
Mr. Low Flite from Glendale, CA
I have been a runner for many years. In the last few years,
I have gained weight and exercised less due to some physical
issues including a fairly recent toe surgery and plantar
faciitis. After having worn Beasts for years, I just got a
slightly wider pair to allow more comfort with the recovery
from toe surgery. I was also able to remove the very
excellent insoles and temporarily install custom insoles
that my doctor wants me to wear until the toe is fully
healed and the plantar faciitis has been overcome. Both
insole sets work great inside the Beasts. I'm back to my
exercise program and very happy about it.
Rob from US Army Garrison Ansbach,
I've been using two pair of these shoes for much longer than
I should and am about to replace them with another two pair.
They have withstood four years of Army physical training,
preparing for and completing a marathon, and even a year in
Iraq, doubling as both PT and off-duty/casual shoes. As
running shoes go, they are a bit heavy but go a long way to
defeat my pronation. This is the perfect shoe for a casual
runner or a beginner who is just getting serious about
weight loss, fitness, or both.
