Was very excited when I got them as they were the most comfortable shoes I had ever tried on! but now after a wearing them a few months the plastic sole on the bottom is coming off and sometimes gets caught and flaps (very annoying) I have never spent this much on shoes... EVER! Very disappointing as even my old new balance shoes have lasted a couple years and I still wear them to do work around the house. Brooks needs to address the quality of their shoes!

I am currently training for a Men's Physique competition so doing a lot of cardio is a must. I am not like a lot of people that probably buy this shoe; I am not an avid runner, I am not going to go run a bunch of marathons or anything. I use this shoe every day i do cardio and in my weight training. Before this shoe, I would have a shooting pain and my feet would constantly ache from the stairmaster. Using these shoes my feet never hurt, no matter what. It has made the stair master a much easier cardio machine for me because it is not my feet giving out it is always my lungs, which is great. They are extremely stable and supportive. If you take out the insoles they are so much thicker than most insoles in other shoes... This i think accounts to the comfort of the shoe greatly. I am an exercise and movement science major and I have already recommended these shoes to many people in my major as well as my dad ( who is over weight and has pronation issues) and the ones who have bought it say they will never go back. For a while i was slipping out of the shoe but I realized it was my socks. I was using extremely thin socks and wasn't using a heel lock on the lacing. after incorporating them, the shoe is snug and feels great on my feet.

Very comfortable right out of the box. I'm a bigger guy 6'1", 220 lb, and a over-pronator. I was looking for a shoe that would offer both comfort, and motion control, and after searching the internet this shoe had very high ratings. I would have to agree since I went running with them right out of the box with no discomfort due to the break-in period. I was told they're heavy, but I don't seem to notice. I started running last May, and after having dual compartment surgery on my legs I wanted a shoe that was comfortable, and reduced the impact on my legs. Very pleased so far.
